John Minihan is one of the most notable portrait photographers of our time. He is renowned for his work on the people of Athy and for his iconic photo of Lady Diana at the age of nineteen (when Diana was first discovered as Prince Charles’ love interest).
Last month, after the TBEX Conference in Dublin, I had the honor of having my portrait shot by Minihan.
Before the shoot, we met for tea and spoke about everything from travel stories to mobile photography (Minihan had never seen a photo edited on an smartphone before). Once my portrait session was complete, I had a precious minute to take some photos of Minihan (shown above).
